Since WWII the poverty line had decreased dramatically. After WWII 60% of Germany’s population was under the poverty line. In 2015 the the percentage of population under the poverty line was 15.5% this shows a tremendous increase in Germany’s economy. During such a high poverty percentage shows that there was a high unemployment rate in the country. Over years it has expanded its economy and people were getting employed during the expansion of the economy. In 2015 the percentage of population under the poverty line in the U.S. was 15.1% it is just a little bit lower than Germany’s. This shows that Germany is an economically rich country like the U.S.
